2019 Little League Baseball World Series

10-12 year olds from 16 Little League teams from around the world played their hearts out in the last 10 days in the Little League World Series. It came down to Louisiana (South West region) and Curacao (Caribbean) in the final game. Young MLB prospects played on the Caribbean team, even the youngest Profar brother of three, Jurdrick Profar #13. (Oldest brother, Jurickson Profar – shortstop for Oakland Athletics). All three Profar brothers have played in the LLWS. With 13 year olds moved up this year to Junior Little League, there were records broken and still many Home Runs which were mostly hit from the International teams; of these home runs were a few Grand Slams. This year also showed Girls can still play baseball with the big boys; a young girl named Maddy Freking from the Mid West region pitched beautifully and played second base. Congratulations to Louisiana for taking the LLWS 2019 title.
